Morgan appeared in a film on AIDS recognition and treatment, Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds of this video was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is the leader of numerous other fund-raising projects for the disease and also appeared before a special Congressional panel on AIDS education. Morgan is on the board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. C. Everett's former assistant surgeon general asked her occasionally to substitute for him at AIDS awareness activities. She also was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to make appearances on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In the spring of this year, Morgan starred alongside Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer started in the form of Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams also appeared. The next film she was in brought Morgan to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred in the psychological suspense thriller which was produced exclusively for the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the network's history.
